On October 14, LIFE-ZEPAURBAN will participate in the final Steppes of La Mancha Conference. This is an online conference in which professionals, experts, and businessmen responsible for initiatives to enhance the natural heritage with a special focus on the conservation of steppe birds and the general biodiversity of the agricultural landscape will participate. The LIFE Steppes of La Mancha Project aims to stop the decline in steppe bird populations in collaboration with farmers from four of the main Special Protection Areas for Birds (SPAs) of Castile-La Mancha included in the Natura 2000 Network. This initiative was undertaken between 2016 and 2020 in 57 municipalities of four SPAs in the La Mancha region.
